First of all, this book has bright picture which will get the attention of young readers. It is written in a way that young ones can identify. Most important, it shows that many have different ideas about what Christmas is about, but explains the true meaning of Christmas. I, as a grandparent, find that this is a great book to share with my grandchildren.
Dain Ray Devon did a wonderful job explaining the Christian meaning behind the colors, Stars and Stripes of the American Flag. This is a wonderful book to not only give our children a better understanding of the meaning behind the flag but it’s Christian foundation in which this great country was founded on.
What I personally loved about this new book was how it teaches children in such a loving way the joys of the holidays without taking away the true meaning of the birth of Christ. The illustrations throughout the book will captivate readers of all ages and only enhance your reading enjoyment along with the spiritual message that is so eloquently written by the author.
